      On December 4th, 2024, CEN of european committee for standardization issued the toy safety standard EN 71-3:2019+A2:2024 "Toy Safety-Part 3: Migration of Specific Elements", which will replace the existing version EN 71-3 2019+A1:2021 and is expected to take effect on June 30th, 2025.

      EU toy safety standard EN 71-3 Specific Element Migration is the basic requirement of EU toy products, and it is a safety standard for the migration of heavy metals and specific chemicals in toys. In EN 71-3 2019+A22024 Safety of Toys-Part 3: Migration of Certain Element, the updated contents include the adjustment of expression and citation, the modification of some sampling methods and testing methods, etc.
