Recently, SASO of Saudi Arabia revised its regulations on electronic equipment interfaces, and announced that the new regulations originally planned to be implemented on August 1, 2024 will be postponed to January 1, 2025. That is to say, from January 1st, 2025, the products of the following HS CODE must adopt USB Type-C interface, and when applying for SABER COC certification in Saudi Arabia, a test report proving that the USB Type-C interface of the products meets the requirements of SAO IEC 62680-1-2: 2017 and SAO-IEC 62680-1-3: 2017 is required.
